Juan Carlos Stolberg
Juan Carlos Stolberg is an attorney with experience in transactional law, merges and acquisitions, private equity, capital venture, Art and Fashion Law and corporate law in general. He has represented clients in a variety of fields, including real property developers, funds’ consultants, beverages’ distributors, restaurants’ owners and fashion and art establishments.
Before starting his own practice, Juan Carlos Stolberg was an associate at Tannenbaum Helpern, LLP, New York, where he was part of the corporate department. During his time at Tannenbaum Helpern, LLP, Juan Carlos Stolberg participated in the structuring of a wide range of transactions, including, among others, the purchase of companies’ shares and assets, private offerings, arts’ investment funds, and licensing, distribution and franchise agreements.
Before joining Tannenbaum Helpern, LLP, Juan Carlos Stolberg worked in the acquisition’s department of The Lifestyle Development Company, LP, a real property developer, where he helped to create and structure an international club focused on helping its members to have access to the most exclusive sites for fishing and hunting around the world.
Juan Carlos Stolberg graduated with a B.A. in Arts in Columbia University, New York, and got his J.D. at the Fordham Law School, New York.
He is the director of the Stolberg-Acosta Foundation, where he co-manages his family’s art collection, which includes pieces from the 17th Century. Juan Carlos Stolberg is fluent in English and Spanish and is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
